Backstage at Ebony Fashion Fair's The Runway Report

Ah, what a day. I’m just getting to update The Goods. I’ve been busy prepping for Wednesday’s photo shoot for May’s Glossy, the American-Statesman’s luxury style magazine. However, I do want to share a backstage look at the 51st annual Ebony Fashion Fair show called The Runway Report. Billed as “the world’s largest traveling fashion show,” the event came to Austin’s Riverbend Centre on Saturday. The decked-out, packed audience was hungry for all of the international fashion on the runway. The event was sponsored by Austin Alpha Kappa Alpha Foundation and the Beta Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. After the show, I caught up with Austinite Dr. Avis Meeks Day, who represented the AKA Foundation, and Ebony Fashion Fair commentator Jada Collins. Check it out.
